This is a very good plan for building a pickup winder cheaply. It has very detailed and well 
explained instructions and diagrams. The book also has some good information about the basics 
of pickup design which is not available in the other books on this subject which I have read. 
Importantly, Jason Lollar has started publishing it again in a revised and updated edition which 
is available from his website for much less than the older used copies are available.
