Remixes 2: 81-11 is de tweede grote remix-collectie van Depeche Mode tracks, en opvolger van het zeer succesvolle Remixes 81-04. Verrassend is dat ook op deze remix compilatie tracks vanaf het eerste album Speak And Spell (1981) tot aan het laatste album Sounds Of The Universe (2009) verzameld staan.
Op deze nieuwe verzameling zijn een aantal remixlegenden van de partij maar ook nieuwe helden als Stargate, Eric Prydz en Karlsson&Winnberg hebben een opvallende bijdrage geleverd. Opvallend daarbij is te vermelden dat ook oud Depeche Mode leden Alan Wilder en Vince Clark remix bijdragen hebben geleverd.
