The Ultimate Fighter: Team Lesnar vs. Team dos Santos is the thirteenth installment of the Ultimate Fighting Championship produced reality television series The Ultimate Fighter.

The UFC and Spike TV held open tryouts on November 4, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The casting call went out for Welterweight and Middleweight fighters, however, all fighters will be in the welterweight division.[1] All fighters applying and trying out for the show must have at least three professional fights and be at least 21 years of age.[2] Notables who turned up to the tryouts included Karl Amoussou, Andre Galvao, and Zak Cummings.[3]

It was confirmed during the Fight For The Troops 2 conference call that Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos would be the coaches for this season.[4]

This season did not feature an elimination round like the two seasons before it, however, the "wild card" selections introduced in season 11 were still featured. The initial cast will also only be 14 rather than the usual 16, 28 or 32 in recent seasons.[5]

On May 12, 2011, midway through the airing of the season, Dana White announced that Brock Lesnar will be pulling out of the fight due to his previous condition of diverticulitis coming back, so therefore had to withdraw from the bout.[6]
