In Volume 1, Sedric covers all 3 of Reason's built-in synth devices (Subtractor, Malstrom and Thor) in great detail giving you overviews of all the controls and features. He then goes section by section of each synth, explaining what every knob and button does with sonic examples so you see and hear what they actually do. Sedric then finishes up each synth with a "creative uses" tutorial showing you cool ways to use the synth as well as tips and tricks. 

In Volume 2, Sedric goes deep into all of Reason's built-in drummachine and sampler devices (Kong, ReDrum, NN-XT, NN-19 and Dr. Octo Rex) explaining all of their controls and features. He then breaks down section by section each device, showing you what every knob and button does with sonic examples so you see and hear what they actually do. Sedric then finishes up each instrument with a "creative uses" tutorial showing you interesting ways to use the devices as well as tips and tricks.
