This is an excellent book. I had one that got lost while we were moving, so I had to replace it...I have made almost everything in it..it is also a good reference when you need to make your own patterns, you can easily adapt common shapes like the pumpkin into other round types of ornaments. And most of the stitches are rather simple, single & double crochet, so it is good for a beginner.
