Post Description
Tatem's Carnivores: Ice Age hunting sim is about to be unleashed on yet another platform (or two) as the original dinosaur age hunts give way to a post-Jurassic sequel.
The anticipated conversion of the game, which is again being handled by Betashapers, takes the original iOS conversion and brings it to playstation 3 and PSP users, with official drop-in tentatively scheduled for August 2011. Promising "5 huge explorable 3D maps, a variety of pre-historic ice age animals to hunt and huge weapon palette to choose [from]," players will have extreme freedom to navigate huge environments in search of mammoths, saber-tooth tigers and other ice-age beats on a recently-discovered planet within the time of its ice age. True-to-life hunting weapons and cover apparatus (including camouflage and scent protection) provide some hunting realism, but watch out -- these are carnivores, after all... and they're certainly no joke, either!
