So, the new kit listings are out! After the Nuremberg Toy Fair, the modelling websites and grapevine are a-buzz with talk of the kits coming out in the near future - either the long-reguested re-issues or entirely new kits. From jet bombers to exotic sports cars, it looks like it is going to be an expensive year for us modellers. As I looked through the numerous catalogues that Assistant Editor Chris Clifford brought back after spending four days at the show and the subsequent quizzing I gave him (it wasn't meant to feel like an interrogation, Chris, honest), the mental kit list that we all keep in our heads was slowly growing. For example, test shots of MPM's 1/72 Sud Aviation Vatours have been posted on their news webpage, so there's not too long to wait for that one hopefully. Zeveda's forthcoming range of Mi-24/35 Hinds, Russia's angry Cold War battlefield helicopter series, is also on the list - but it's not only about aircraft. German armour remains as popular as ever with a number of new late-war Panther tanks planned for release this year and some variants of the British Army Land Rover used in Iraq and currently in Afghanistan, too.
